Job description

We are looking for our next junior DevOps developer!

You consider yourself a backend developer, you started playing with DevOps tooling and you want to learn more, this job might be for you !

You will be managed by the Bodyguard Head of Infrastructure, a skilled DevOps developer with more than 10 years experience.

Key missions & responsibilities

• Help to maintain and upgrade the Bodyguard cloud infrastructure
• Maintain the Bodyguard CI/CD toolings
• Maintain and update the Bodyguard Monitoring tools
• Develop and maintain small internal gRPC APIs
• Enforce DevOps good practices in every Bodyguard dev team

Preferred experience

• You are a confident backend developer
• You have already developed an HTTP API
• You are fluent in at least 3 different programmation languages (with at least one strongly typed language)
• You are a meticulous developer who does not push code until you understand every single line
• You are eager to learn new skill
• You are a strong team player

A typical day

• Stand-Up Meeting with the rest of the team
• Meeting with the Head of Infra and other stack holder to brainstorm on the Bodyguard Multi-Region deployment strategy
• Eat lunch with all the Parisian Bodyguard team
• Review an Helm Chart Pull Request made by another team
• Merge the PR and ensure the deployment was successful
• Update Grafana Dashboard to add new graph related to the PR
• Write a PR to improve our logging verbosity
